• From the Neutragena review: This is extremely unorthodox sizing, and I find it rather obnoxious. Ha ha ha ha... I had no idea soap was so amusing.
• Nothing but Lava soap and Prell here. The hard stuff!
• I think Irish Spring is one of the finest mainstream soaps out there to buy, and I hope this review convinces the curious readers out there to pick up a bar some time. It's cheap, it's widely available, it smells good, and it gets you clean. You really can't ask for much more than that from a soap. Irish Spring = my 2nd favorite soap. Lever 2000 = t3h best
• I like Irish Spring too. I hang bars of it in my yard to keep the deer away from my roses and shave it over top of my flower beds with a knife to keep the racoons from digging up my bulbs. It's comforting to know that all of nature finds Irish Spring as repulsive as I do. Ivory, if you must know
• Anyone else think this guy has OCD? That being said, Lever 2000 for me.
• Ok, I just read the damn article. That's about 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back. For those of you lucky enough to have not read it, each soap is detailed down to the color and texture of the lather, with a nice detailed description of each box. Easily one of the most useless piece of claptrap I've ever read. Dammit, Paul Lynch, you owe me five minutes of life!!
• Nothing worse than someone who reaks of cheap hand-soap. I used to know this black gir- Ah, never mind.
• I'll 3rd the Lever 2000 endorsement. Love that scent. Expensive though. Well, compared to cheap-ass Ivory.
• Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap just plain rocks your rocks. Tingly! Although, when I was poor and in college,I did use a small bit of Cascade dishwashing powder in the shower a few times. Then I started getting hit on by all these busboys,and...
• Narrator: Over the years, I got to be quite a connossieur of soap. Though my personal preference was for Lux, I found that Palmolive had a nice, piquant after-dinner flavor - heavy, but with a touch of mellow smoothness. Life Buoy, on the other hand...YECCH!!
• The reason that you use a Castile Soap is very simple. Most all "name brand" soaps are made from beef or pork tallow. That is beef or pork fat. • Lever 2000 Moisture Response, Fresh [something] Great stuff, and particularly useful if you live in a hardwater region like me for not drying out the hands and body.

• Man, I love Kirk's Castile. Because it's hard to find in the stores, I buy it by the case of their web site (it's no longer produced by proctor and gamble). I had a box shipped to work once. My coworkers thought I was crazy to be buying soap on the Internet, but that's some good soap.
• I like liquid soaps, in general. No, I'm not a girl, but I don't like that crappy soap gunk left on the shower shelf. I also don't like it when it breaks in half, and then it's hard to use. Also, I like those mechanic's soaps that you scoop out of a tub, like Crisco.
• KillerManatee, I used Kirk's Castile very briefly, but not after practically eating my skin off. It's got major suds but is too harsh unless you have extremely hard water. Dr. Bronner's castile is great. I can do without the peppermint kind in the shower, though. That stuff is like rubbing liniment all over your nether regions.
• Man part of my job is to sell soap to people, or ..rent...it. But I guess its kinda hard to rent soap, so we just cal it a "service". Its just a small part of what we do, but it is usually easy money because the stuff we have is much better than what mechanics and the like are used to. We actually have a guy that comes in once or twice a year and he's a sales rep for our soap company. ALL he does is sell frickin soap...I don't think I could live if my job was that boring and mundane. But he probably does get paid rather well, travelling the east selling frickin soap. BTW use Kresto! Its the best! Leaves your hands clean and doesnt dry them out like most of the other brands! oh god kill me
• mmMmmmm...the description of Tone is downright sensual...
• Dove. In spite of its "moisturizing" claims it is one of the purest soaps available and thus, no residue.
